As the proud owner of the FP STx MK8.5 "1 of 1" in Switzerland, I am pretty happy I got mine, and very sad they killed the production, In europe, The reason behind the move is to shift costs, SUVs, Manufacturers that have both SUV and smaller cars see a higher sales in their SUV productions, and since the laws to out the combustion engine came into europe, all manufacturers are focusing on developing EV production lines, the new implementation of these lines is costly and therefor financially it makes no sence to have a few lines for a few models of cars, be them hatches, combies or saloons, when they can axe all those lines, and repurpose the cost of them into the creation of EV lines. That is it in a nutshell. the days of the fun combustion engine cars are limited people. PS to all you STx owners out there, Change the stock breakpads to Endless pads, you can thank me later.

First one I've seen in white. They really are cracking little cars. Any niggles are well outweighed by the driving experience and niggly features such as stop/start and lane-keep assist can easily be switched off.
