I've been a fan since 1977ish... I saw Michael Franks in Concert for probably the last time in 2023 in San Diego at the Rady Shell in the Marina. Michael is an unsung Artist. Hats off to Mr. Smooth.

The power of true smoothness that Mr. Franks possesses is something undescribable; Easily the best song from this timeless 1980 album called One Bad Habit and a Top 5 contender from his entire career! Finishing with the great André Fischer, making this uniquely stylish syncopation on drums toward the end, especially at 3:50! The only song that I can remember that employed this kind of beat element!
