Ive never understood the reason people put the bed over the front seat. Obviously if you a big guy i understand but i used to just push the front seat foward and incline forwards and im 6"1 and had a few inches of space.
@SheriOneal

It all comes down to what you want I guess. I have a dog so it works out great for me to put his bed at the end closest to the dash because there is nowhere else he can be comfortable and I don't like him right next to me. I also have a 2008 and the seats do not lean forward on those so it allows for more overall space with the seat under the bed area and it is easier to get out of the front passenger door if I need to.

@@SheriOneal It's good to know that my friends are still adventurous and passionate. I may have lost that spirit, at least for the time being. People used to live vicariously through me, but the tide has turned. I fear that my candle has melted all the way down.
@SheriOneal
@SheriOneal 4 ай бұрын
@@DAVIDHERRICK I completely understand, it feels harder to get inspired the longer we do what do for a living. I have many lackluster moments and I too am struggling, mostly with the desire to pursue new things, yet I still need to make money with assignments. That has always been the heardst part of being an artist. I want to go create with no boundaries but I have to have money to pay bills. It also cost money to spare the time to do those personal projects so it is often hard to find that safe balance. Try doing something you wouldn't normally do and take time to learn something new. Most of what I enjoy doing today I would have never imagined I would be interested in several years ago. Your candle just needs some fresh air! xo

Sheri, the confessional nature of this video is what makes it so powerful. Thanks for sharing. You're not alone. I think all creatives suffer from imposter syndrome. For me, I'm never particularly happy with my writing because what ends up on the page is never exactly how I imagined it in my head. My last book was the best writing I've done yet. Even so, I spend too much time thinking about how it could have been better, which then leads to me feeling like I'm not good enough. This doesn't serve me at all. I need to stop beating myself up and comparing myself to others. Instead, I need to remember that, on my journey, I'm getting better. I am very much a work in progress.

STOP beating yourself up and be kind to yourself! We all struggle with this and need to do better. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment. Sending you all the best for better writing and for loving who you are, you ARE Unique....remember that!

Thank you Sheri for posting this video. I will probably watch this video often to remind myself how to keep living my best life and prevent the negative thoughts from holding me back. There is so much I am good or great at doing, but tend to not give myself the credit I deserve. Time to give myself a break!

This is so good Sheri! I too struggle and battle with this on a daily basis. The older I get in the industry I’m in, the more im aware of the things that pulls me back. I have to make conscious decisions everyday to not slip into that habit of self-doubt and just keep pushing. Thank you for this very inspiring message. Always love hearing from you! Hope all is well!

Thank you for being so open and sharing your thoughts. Being a creative I think sometimes makes us even more vulnerable since our work is often so personal. Being conscious positively in those times is a very good thing!

Восхищает, что в США так легко человек может заниматься кастомайзингом и потом ездить на том, что он создал! В России это не реально на законодательном уровне Я 10 лет выискивал лазейки в законе чтоб собрать байк по своим параметрам и ездить на нём.

How do you stablise it to the wall?

@SheriOneal 2 жыл бұрын
I will do my best to explain, hopefully, this will make sense. Near the back hatch, it is partially rested on part of the storage bin, leaving space so I can still use the bin. I used a d-ring from the cabinet and one to a screw on the backside near the hatch opening, my model has a flip plastic hook with a screw so I used that to also attach the d-ring. Then I used a turnbuckle to firmly attach the cabinet to the frame with tension. At the top near the door toward the front of the vehicle, I added a metal d-ring to the upper handle screw near the top of the roof. There is a piece of plastic that pops off and a screw holds it in place (where you might hang some clothes on a hanger also referred to as the oh Sh1T bar). I also added a metal d-ring to the cabinet. I then connected both using a turnbuckle so I could tighten it into place. To add a bit more tension there is a bolt where the seat used to be behind the plastic cover where the bracket screws to the frame. I bought a longer screw with the same thread and a large washer and ran it threw the back of the cabinet reinforced with a cheap metal Lbracked from Lowes into the original treaded hole. I am getting ready to add some new modifications and will likely make a metal frame that runs around the cabinet. It is very snug and I have had no issues with it moving, shifting, or slipping in any way. I try not to drill any new holes and utilize any existing screws with my builds if possible. I hope this helps and isn't too confusing. Thank you for watching!

Thank you! It's about 7' it goes from the back to right around where the doorknob sits. I am short and was hoping to keep it behind the front seat with the seat all the way forward but my seats don't release forward unfortunately so I had to make it higher to fit over the seat with the seat completely laid back. this wastes a lot of space but works. After seeing so many mods online I now want to change it again but I don't have the greatest setup in my garage to do what I would love to do. It works great and is super comfortable though. If you are building something I would love to see it! I have a new video walkthrough of the set up I just haven't had time to upload it, will do that soon if you care to subscribe it should remind you. I am new to this platform with sharing and at my age, it is all a bit of a challenge with time.
