After going back and watching the original video, if you were at where I think you were at, you're the douche in this situation. That's a narrow channel right there and it gets super sketchy in that area. Maybe that's where they had their track at on their gps and there you are blocking the whole thing
@FishingMadeEasywithCharles15 сағат бұрын
Nope bud I was in cold pass on the shallowest shore line, hence him beaching himself 🤣... The side behind me , the side toward Christmas bay, is the deeper channel side where boats should go and is clearly marked.. if he has a track on that side he's nuts because it's nothing but shallow sand bars and he found one .... But thanks for looking bud I appreciate it ...right on...😎🤙

My Pop's used to have me slap the water with the tip of the rod to call the fish. Little did I realize at the time, it sounded like a school of bait. He learned it from a shrimp boat captain out of Matagorda Bay. Seemed to work 😅

@FishingMadeEasywithCharles5 күн бұрын
Trinity bay is fine, all the Galveston Bays are connected so if one's bad they're all bad..... There is a old paper mill dump site way up the San Jacinto river that releases some dioxins in the water and that area there are signs saying don't eat more than 8oz of fish a month from there because of that but that isn't close to Trinity.... The bay is dirty looking because of all the bayous and rivers that dump into it causing the bottom mud and sand to stir up in the water giving it a dirty or cloudy look.....hope that helps bud ...right on...😎🤙

Good question.... Depends on where I go... But If I'm going to go for a meat haul I always bring live and work both.... I've been out where all they want is artificial and others only live.... If I don't care about a big stringer I go just artificial....hope that helps...right on...😎🤙

If that's the old Houston Light & Power spillway....brings back some good memories. I grew up on Gou Hole Rd in the 80's and fished the spillway many times. Some of my more "creative" friends used to make shorty rods about 2.5 feet long using 60lb mono to cast under the catwalk at night. They still pulled up straightened out hooks or had their line broke...there are monsters in that spillway. The cooling ponds also held monsters and shrimp so thick you step on em if you waded out....but most didn't do that because they were hiding behind the rocks since it was illegal to fish the ponds. One ole boy got caught, the law confiscated his all his tackle, boat, his trailer and the truck attached to it. Never heard how much of that he got back. Thanks for posting the video 😊.

I’ve always slowed to an idle when passing people fishing. It’s just good etiquette. But there are times when you have to cross a sand bar on a plane then I hope they understand. Also when the spillway is a parking lot, if you happen to spill some chips before you get there you can find a parking spot
@FishingMadeEasywithCharles11 күн бұрын
Right on.... One thing some folks don't know is a big wake close to a kayak can flip it especially if the kayakers aren't paying attention or are inexperienced...also a lot of kayakers don't know in shallows some boats have to stay on plane or they bottom out.... Knowledge is key.... Love the chips!!!🤣🤣🤣 Thank for the comment Matthew 4:19....Tight lines and God bless....
