A guy I really likes showed me The Drums and Johnny. We dated for a few months. I was catching feelings. And honestly he was the first guy to make me feel like a relationship was possible. But he started dating someone else. I was such a a mess after that. I repressed it for a bit but then I let him know one night how I had felt then. He told me that he enjoyed dating me. He literally told me that he went to a concert with his current bf but some songs made him think of me. And it's not like I'm gonna try anything but the fact that I wasn't a terrible experience for him was the closure I needed. It was fleeting but it was genuine. And we're still friends, best friends in fact. And I'm trying to date again. This song just means so much to me.
