Nobody uses "MIDI" values anymore. Everything is with macros (because they change accordingly with the track focus on the control surface). But the thing is...Ableton doesn't pickup macros!! Takeover mode doesn't work with macros! I think I will be buying the same controller as you have, because it has only those encoders and LEDs. Bidirectional communication with the controller is currently the only option..

does that mean that when you export tracks, the reverb of every drum set in a group will be in one single track? If so is there a way to export with individual FX?

Im not scared of the learning curve. Im frustrated with such little things as trying to get playr to work and having so little help without diving deep into manuals. if it was just the package that needed to be installed fine, prob restart needed without being prompted? eeeh ok. but also having to change this in the preferences and nobody saying anything, thats the shitty iceberg/learning curve imo.

It says my live set does not belong in a project. I thought when i saved and closed the project it would ask me if i wanted to delete temporary files but it didn't and saved 100 takes. I guess i need to just exit it out to get that pop up? which is lame because i like to save sometimes but i dont want to keep files i have already deleted out of my live set... someone in the comments said to consolidate the file first if i want to save it. then i just go through and delete the stuff out of the recording folder 1 by 1... I have so much crap in my recorded folder that i am scared to delete because i have so many unfinished projects. ugh

i tried to use this to control the project tempo...it changes the displayed number, but playback wouldn't speed up or slow down, just sounded the same.
