I was not assigned to read this book for class, i just LOVE the movie (i have seen it HUNDREDS of times and can say every word its my favorite movie) and have the book for a while but never got into reading it. Because of my confusion of S. Morgenstern and William Goldman. But i just want to say that the way you read it is Wonderful. You make me want to read more.
@ClassroomConfidentialАй бұрын
There is no S Morgenstern. It’s a creation of Goldman. It’s part of what makes the book so great, how he’s completely fabricated a fictitious author who never existed and presents the book like it’s something his grandfather read to him as a child. Adds to the whole richness of the story. And most of my students loved the book so much that by the time I showed them the movie they were angry that they left so much out. Especially the Zoo of Death. Thanks for listening and for your kind words.

One possibility is that she had said time and time again that Westly is all she needs in the world and having the secret garden of her heart shredded to pieces once again could be enough to brake her and accept death. She was close to accepting it the night Humperdink came to her, rather than marry him. However, I would love to think Princess Buttercup would fight in the wake of Westleys death and use the love she had to rage against the darkness of the night. Not only her love for Westley but her love for the people she is queen of. She has found solice in them and could again, being a strong badass lone queen, deafeting Humperdink and ruling until she allies with Gilder and creates another air for the good of the country. After the count is taken care of, of course.

@@ClassroomConfidential So as a teacher would you tell your students to repeat the instructions or do you tell them to follow the instructions?
@ClassroomConfidentialАй бұрын
@@nestea1278 both.
@nestea1278Ай бұрын
@@ClassroomConfidential but technically isn't there a difference? If you told someone to repeat these instructions would they be wrong if they literally recited the instructions back to you? Isn't asking someone to repeat the instructions faulty when you are expecting them to perform the instructions given? Please forgive me,I'm trying my best to explain with words what I'm trying to get an understanding for.

Have you ever thought about dividing those large assignments into sections? When I was a kid, a big project could be overwhelming. My 5th grade teacher assigned us a spelling chapter, 10 vocabulary words, and a weekly reader for weekly homework. None of it was hard, but it was boring and tiresome. I would often procrastinate until the night before, and 3-4 times I didn't do it at all because I was overwhelmed by anxiety.
@ClassroomConfidential7 ай бұрын
Oh, all the time. Even big assignments cut into small ones are a struggle, even when I give time in class to work. A lot changes when they get to 6th grade and one teacher isn’t governing them the entire day.
