@@itzprowlaz ok maybe 6 months... but still. Lookin real default for many years of development and selling exclusive access to what amounts to absolutely nothing but a tech demo. Just sayin, I gave Brad a pile of money 3 weeks after it was first announced, didn't even ask for a rewards package in return. Just wanted to see what Brad had up his sleeve now that he was working on something that Smedly couldn't meddle in. But then it turned out Brad had very little to no influence on the project, and all the money seems to have gone to, expenses. And Joppa just doesn't get it. There's no better way to describe it. He just doesn't get it. I don't even think he's a real gamer. And he's about as deep as a drip on a window. An now without Brad around to lure in suckers, they needed something to show for all this time. And all they have is... this. Not lookin good.

The animations are horrible. You get hit, no flinch, swings look like a 2 year old swatting at a butterfly for the first time. 2004-ish graphics make this game very dull. They took too long and made too many bad decisions. The window has been missed. Go back to 2001 DAOC. Even they had an evade animation. Their combat animations are fairly close to Pantheon’s animations except this is 2024…

Nah. You're missing it. Animations are a WIP anyway, and I'm not excited about the new graphics system but it was necessary for them to get the game done instead of spinning their wheels with the realistic graphics. Once they finish the lighting and texture upgrades it will still look pretty great. That's all skin deep stuff there especially in a Pre-Alpha. The gameplay is solid. Class design is amazing. There's very few bugs I've encountered. Mark my words this game will be one of the best MMOs ever and you will end up playing it when it's done :P

Cant help but disagree. This game is right on time to capitalize on people being tired of the modern cookie cutter games. It will always be a little bit niche and wont be able to take over the market from WOW/ESO/FF14 or those, but it doesnt need to. Pantheon appeals to an audience of people like me who want that old school feel. After finally playing it myself I know it will be successful.

Adventuring through a new area in the dark was so intense I loved it. Season 2 wont be as dark, which has its pros and cons.

Sandstorm would be perfect with this mode. No countdown timers, no hectic waves, just a nice slow, tactical offline terrorist hunt.

It will. You just have to make sure "Enabled Cheats" setting is turned on and then use the proper key bind. Ctrl+Insert for this particular camera I believer.
