Thank you for all you do in continuing to encourage. It's so easy to fall into traps and complain, but it really is part of the job. These small snippets really help us to stay focused. And as a former FF, it's a great analogy!

I have so many thoughts and ideas and capture them but then the week after, I only find a handful that I would be interested in. I love that David says he doesn't use all his captures as I thought I kept changing my mind too frequently.

I notice that you arrange things in a simple and intuitive way, just like GTD is. Some drawers are loose but it is the demonstration that we should not overdo it, that the system serves us and not the contrary. Thank you for sharing!

Finally someone understands why I do these ‘little things’ instead of telling me that’s not what I should do. It makes my brain feel and function better. I’ve not been doing this as much because I hear peoples’ voices in my head saying I’m wasting time or procrastinating on bigger things. I’m having a hard time getting back to ‘myself’ because of these voices and don’t know who I am anymore. I know that sounds more convoluted than I should be but it has changed me so I don’t totally recognize myself anymore. This concept extends to other areas . . .

So at 8:30, it sounds like we put projects into next action list because those projects have to be clarified. Is that right?

Would've been good to have "preview" in the title or something - I get that this is here to try to advertise GTD Connect but I wouldn't have listened if I knew ahead of time it was going to cut off before actually tackling anything mentioned in the description on-screen

It does say that in the description, sorry for the disappointment.
@lorijsp88135 ай бұрын
Thank you for the heads-up - since the “video” (only audio) is 20 min. long & I didn’t read the description this time, either, I thought it might be the whole webinar. I’m disappointed, too.

David, I would be super interested in seeing an interview or conversation between you and Dr. Judson Brewer in discussing the relationship of his brain science-based Unwinding Anxiety methodology, mindfulness, and your amazing GTD work! I read your book years ago, but it wasn't until I used UA and unwound my anxiety about looking at my reality that I was finally able to start the GTD process with a feeling of flow. I now have a curious hope about engaging with my work and life appropriately. I think there is a powerful connection between what both you gentlemen have to share with the world. 🎉

@tomm576529 күн бұрын
Hi Jenny, if you search GTD Workflow Processing and Organizing pdf, you will find a pdf that describes the process you can follow when clarifying. If your referring to notes that you made while clarifying; you can follow the same process to decided if you should keep them.
