@sixbirdsinatrenchcoat3 ай бұрын
Well, I rarely do either 😆 I think if you want to avoid vandalism, keep your guests happy. Don’t leave too much space between animals, because if they have to walk forever without seeing any, they’ll start to break stuff 🤷🏼♀️

Are they all the same size? Because when looking for my favourite I felt like some where a lot smaller than others
@sixbirdsinatrenchcoat3 ай бұрын
You are correct! There is definitely a size difference. The tropical ones in the mountain are by far the smallest, but some of the others are smaller than standard as well.

I’m honestly not sure. Most of them seem to be roughly the same size. A few are smaller, but there don’t seem to be any that are larger.

It’s sad because 16 square meters is more than enough room for a couple rodents, I’ve had bedrooms smaller than that.
@sixbirdsinatrenchcoat7 ай бұрын
In-game meters are definitely off. They seem almost right verically, but horisontally, they’re just … wrong. From build pieces to path width 🤯 I can’t explain HOW or WHY they work okay on one axis and horribly on another and honestly it messes with my brain! 😭

I have the opposite problem often, I make habitats way to large lol. I have a pack of Dholes in a 88k sq ft barrier and their largest size with like two sets of babies is only around 20k space needed. They are so small and the space is like the size of three other habitats and the zebra and deer ones lol. I just can't help playing with the tiny critters though, especially the ones people can walk through, although its hard to give good viewing areas in large walkthroughs when they are trying to look at animals the size of like meerkats. I am improving slowly though, I've only played for two weeks so I still have lots to figure out and lots of animals to build for (then build better for later).
@sixbirdsinatrenchcoat7 ай бұрын
Ooh, two weeks! So much great game-time ahead of you! 🥳 88K is huuuuge! Lol. I really like building big habitats too, but the guests do get a bit annoyed when the animals are always somewhere else 😆 Try placing feeding stations, water and enrichment near the guest path in your walkthroughs.
@MagicMuffins7 ай бұрын
Maybe you can place a small water bowl?🤔
@sixbirdsinatrenchcoat7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately not, though I appreciate the idea. Only the smallest of the enrichment items can be placed that close to a barrier. But I do think I may have had an idea … currently working on a part 2 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃

Ok, I know I’m pretty late, but especially this last map inspired me a lot! And because I’m gonna try this, but I’m way to incompetent to build this, I share this idea with all two people who will see this comment, congratulations :D So: i see there an nature reserve, with an Jurassic Park feeling, but more sciency then zoo, like the entrance is an improvised half of bamboo build helipad, now I’m going to bed, I’m tired from my endless genius :) And it’s exactly 12 pm right now, so good night.

“Tired from my endless genius” 😆 I love it! And a helipad is actually a great idea. A lack of realism always bothers me and … how do people get up there?! - By helicopter, obviously.

I would love an extinct animals pack with like a Dodo, the golden frog as exhibit, the Thylacine (such a beautiful creature!) and the Honshu Wolf (kinda a smol wolf). And yeah, I know extinct animals are not that easy to reanimate to live in a Zoo, even a digital one. But it would a quiet good reminder to take care about the enviroment. Also I would love a true marine pack with actual in water living animals, like fish, jellyfish and such. Like you said, we have animations for swimming and deep diving, why not put to use? And as addition to your island animal wishes: the tanuki (japanese raccoon dog). Quiet fluffy, quiet cute, not that big with a great background. Also I would like to get more japanese themed parts, in special signs and living stuff, playground parts and more information stuff like, yeah, signs, boards. And the biggest wish at this section: animal signs in _one_ style for all in various styles.
