This song about self destruction and the prophet of end seems to me be a clear musical statement of God desire to start over ( Helsinki). Krug is a Phoenix and he’ll rise from the fire once again, He did, Julia With Blue Jeans is a Triumph, but not of the same magnitude.

Had a hankering this morning for anything Spencer/Wolf Parade and just discovered this. The tease of "Return to the Violence" underneath makes this a hard version of this song. Stark. I remember the show in LA at The Satellite... and it was moving. Dan B was at the show and Foxygen opened. That was a good night.
