Such a great movie, if one does reinterpret Richard III in a modern setting, this is the way to do it

Anthony, Burner, Frances,Vivan and Captain David Usher. I have a simple word for you from a song you don't know about you. The lyrics go, "The Villain does get Fuck with No Vaseline!" and starts with "Fuck All Y'all!"

What great scene...disturbing, dreamlike, deeply scary....as only the existential and uncoscious issues can be.

I love how subtle the emotions are. He doesn't overact at all, just the right timbre of his voice that it sounds like a man scared of the dream he's recounting.

What’s the meaning of this scene?
@jakezywek6852 Жыл бұрын
It is designed to depict the mind creating extra stimuli because the character has been away from company for so long, also the hope our subconscious has of seeing people who are gone, and the the mind's realization is shown toward the end of the dream.

This remains my favourite interpretation of Richard III. So many wonderful performances. Hawthorne here is sublime and brings sympathy to a character who often is lost in the play.

What makes him so masculine? He's even like that when he's stick thin. No wonder he was an icon.
@danbaron9094 Жыл бұрын
Interesting fact: McQueen drank a lot of beer and ate a lot while filming Papillon, so he actually gained weight. The director and cinematographer were forced to keep giving McQueen larger and larger prison rags/clothes to wear for his scenes so he would look thinner. In contrast, Hoffman was a method actor, so he lost weight during the filming of Papillon to be in character.
