I had Topspin as a kid and the jump action worked perfectly nearly every time AS LONG AS you were doing it on a smooth surface like a linoleum tile floor or similar. It would also work okay on low pile carpet. Not great on regular carpet, though.

I am a big Gobots fan. Growing up, my best friend couldn't offer TF, so his parents bought him Gobots. We used to play that they were in the same universe, and they would team up! Actually, I like a lot of their backstory even better than TF. A shame they didn't have a comic book made from them back in the day

WOW! I really liked Brawn! The Transformers UK comic drew him in a toy accurate way in the start of their run, and I LOVED that
@SJHFoto5 күн бұрын
The writers did such a good job making me care about the characters that I didn't mind the toys playablitily. I had Ironhide and Ratchet, and I really loved the toys! For me, around the time of the movie is when my interest in the toys waned. Not only was I getting older, and my TF interest was more in the comics and stuff than the toys, but the switch from die-cast metal to plastic bothered me

Broadside was an absolute trd. Also, I didn't care for Topspin and Twintwist, but mine always worked. Pull back, let go and they flip up. Not quite as cool as Runabout and Runamuck, but it was a fun gimmick for about 10 pulls.

Megatron (that crotch, face sculpt, etc) and seekers (oompa loompa proportions) are the worst. In the other hand the best were the insecticons and soundwave. Takara toys were ugly, was the cartoons that made the line.

I've never understood the "must be original" crowd. The fact is they are treating it as an art piece and it's like saying a print has no value. However, with toys they are throwaway gifts for children, restoring or substituting for history should not be a crime.

I remember this guy I used to have him (I was 6 and lost him and all the other parts) , the "claw zord", it turned into a lobster and the robot mode had like 4 different modes, because the head can spin and turn to a new face, i think there was 4 different faces. also fun play feature I loved, you can bring down the claws on his shoulders to give him claw hands
