Cubase has had a feature that's better than this called "Chord Pads" for years and the Chord Track which was copied and was added in Studio One at some point. Cubase has better MIDI controls but Studio One has the fast workflow IMO. Either way check out some videos to see for yourself it's interesting to see how other DAWs get the job done and thanks for another one.

bro I have a question, I was wondering what the main purpose of bouncing in place was on the patterns you record in the sequencer. See you do it a lot. actually have 2 questions, how is it when you are recording with the ‘scales and chords” using one key but it the note lane it draws the lines for all the keys used in that chord? What am I not clicking?? lol

Bounce it to save CPU and you can to more creative stuff with the wave file.. and turn the direct record switch on the scales & chords

@ bro that’s what I was thinking in my head, I guess when they came back looking a different shade threw me off, but the wav goes to another track bottom of the sequencer. I guess if I was pulling stems from reason to go inside another daw- that would be the way to do it to

Bro,. Your technique is insane. I have never witnessed someone that can freak these melodies like you.(pause).i am so impressed. Id love to chop it up with you, just to find out how you mastered your craft. I create great music , but its not instant for me. . It takes time because i try to create everything myself. I rarely use melody samples. . Scales and chords has been a gamechanger for me. Ive been with Reason since the frist version . Getting a bootleg copy from my former engineer. In the 2000's . Cranked out 5 commercial albums , and countless tracks. And receiving so many opportunities because of them..After watching the majority of your content. Ive been fiddling around with Reason for about 10 years and Im now getting to a point where stuff starts to sound dope. Your way of working - melody based - has inspired me and quite frankly the way of doing this in reason is just fantastic IMO. Im not there yet, but I wanna get better, without using another DAW.
