Greetings from Panama. Your delivery costs are 3 times what I pay. And yes. They tried to give me Gringo pricing too. Until I got a good relationship with one of the Cochez supply market managers. He opened a business account for me at his store. Now I get good discounts and delivery fee is just $15. In the beginning, I got really pissed off. So I bought a used 2010 Silverado 2500hd for just $4,800. It had only 88,000km / 53,000 miles

Just a point of clarification: You are allowed, as an individual, to purchase property, whether you are a Nicaraguan citizen or not. Where did you get the info that you have to buy property under an S.A.? I purchased two properties in my name in the last two years.

Can you please not post vids like this. If I were you I would pull this one down. Eventually Nicaragua will blow up like costa rica but at that point the whole coast will be more like CA. If you feel like you need to promote Nicaragua for your business, please do not name uncrowded spots. That is a big no no in the surf community just as bad as snaking someone. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

I love your co-host & her enthusiasm. Her little on air cuss was especially funny. She has a future as a show presenter. Tony, as an English Canadian I can butcher Espanol far better than you can & at my age I can only hope to get it a little beyond, "dos cervasos por favor." Would you mind telling your viewers why Dave is now hosting your videos? Your information on Nicaragua has become invaluable in helping me decide to come there.

Popoyo means apajaramiento in Spanish, my spelling may be off ... or in English mating or meeting place. finca means small farm; you can work out - finca popoyo! Popoyo shows on a Spanish map from 1574 as the beach due south of Punta Sardina - also on that map as well! Don Jaime Incer wrote a wonderful book on Nica indigenous language place names. All of them, Guasacate - snake grass, rio Nahualapa - river of Wizards are in the book. Somewhere I own a copy, but I bet you can still buy it at Hispamer in Managua.

@@everythingnicaragua9418 Check Jaime Incer ... a Nat Geo fellow...that is like being a knight by the queen as regards being a good steward of the planet. Minister of MARENA during the Chamorro administration, early 90s. I believe Don Jaime has passed. I think Junior is still with us. They have an amazing place if I recall on the shore of Laguna Apoyo. Good family. He wrote 20 plus books on Nicaraguan nature, ethnicity, language, geography, anthropology, archeology. I was honored to meet him in 2005.

I like the effort but I wish you would ask people who have lived here for years which would include expats of all ages and the natives. I've been here ten yrs and so much is missing from this video. Culture and multiple beautiful beaches tide pools and so much more. Family oriented, Mag Rock, Finca Popoyo, Leslia at the Barrel and gosh so much more. Alex with Dutchys deli bakes fresh baked everything, We have hot springs Agua Termales thermal water hot springs and what we really enjoy is the close Bond with our native familys. We appreciate low crime rate , and not tons of tourists traps. Popoyo also held the 2015 ISA World Surfing Games . Mike at Nicawaves, Camping Luna, I could go on and on. I've traveled every inch of this country for actually a little over ten yrs now but Las Salinas, is home base for my husband and I. You skipped Playa Gigante and a few other places. But over all you are trying to touch the basics lightly. Next time let me show you around. Oh we also La Jolla Guasacate

My life has ended in Canada, im 70 years old with heart deseas, so i will loose my cardiologist and the free expenspive heart medication , scary , because i don't think that heart medication is available. I thought you might like my little story - I moved to Vancouver Island, from Toronto 30 years ago. When I first came here I lived in a little town where things moved at a snails pace compared to the rush of Toronto. The local side streets had signs warning of ducks & turtles crossing the road. I brought my parents out for a visit thinking they might enjoy the more relaxed lifestyle. When I pointed out the signs to my parents they asked, "Won't the birds just fly out of your way if you drive into them?" When I told them, "maybe not", it wasn't long after we came around a corner where a few ducks (maybe geese?) were ambling across the road & even though we were driving close, they just turned & looked at us. My Dad couldn't believe what he was seeing. The next day we encountered a bunch of crows in the road & they just took 2 or 3 hops out of the way as we drove past. They both said, in Toronto, if you get within 20 feet of birds on the road they scatter when you drive. It was an eye opener to the differences in where you live & get used to.

That’s so funny you mention it 😂 I came to Nicaragua 3 1/2 years ago and I brought 2 little lav mics with me. Since then I have bought 2 different shotgun mics and three different alternative Bluetooth lav mics, also have two large diaphragm condenser mice’s in the studio. The hard part is Nicaragua 😂 wind, monkeys, bugs, thunder, rain, drive by advert trucks, random parades, motos, truck breaks, clubs, outside street djs… then which one to bring with which connectors iPads or iPhones not hooking up to the wrong Bluetooth and getting the levels right… and doing the show 😂 I think we have a pretty good system now. We bring a hip bag with a small iPad with usbc to usbc to our rode go2 lav mics and a backup (cheap usbc Bluetooth lav set) then we have the iPhone with the lighting to female 1/8” headphone with a TR 1/8” male to TRS 1/8” that goes into the rode go2 lav mics. We then have a rapid usbc charger that charges everything from one plug. Out battery packup packs all got fried and we quit using the gimble because it took to long to set up. That’s what we use after shooting video in Nicaragua for three years straight with no breaks. Progress not perfection. 😎
