Hey, you have a SoundCloud song that you did a while back for a Bishbattle. It was the plugnb one, “I guess I’m a swiftie now”. Any chance you could post that somewhere? It’s the best song I’ve heard in any bishbattle lol. Thanks, and I love your music.

@tilogo

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it :) I have implemented some orchestral elements into beats I have made before but this is the first serious attempt at orchestration and film scoring. I mostly don't find the time to spend like 5+ hours on this kind of music but this was so fun to make. The only issue I really faced was that I struggled with the song progression so I felt like I frequently had to switch motifs
@dutonic

@@tilogo I feel you on the song progression stuff. I'm like 25 hours deep into my next song and I have like 2 minutes of audio to show for it haha

Thank you so much, it means a lot to me ❤This actually was made with pretty limited plugins before I got the Native Instruments stuff - Most of the used instruments were free Spitfire Labs plugins (If you don't have those, get them now ;) labs.spitfireaudio.com/?sortBy=prod_products_labs_latest). I think I primarily used the frozen strings, soft piano and Michael's Choir. At the time, I also used the Output Arcade libraries (which are pretty good for the money, I'm not a big fan of subscription services though). For this particular one, I think I only used one for the choir libraries so it can be substituted pretty easily. The rest was just FL Studio plugins and samplers as far as I can remember (The lower strings sound like the String Section which is awesome for a free sampler). Before I got the Kontakt Libraries, I worked with the basic FL studio stuff for like 4-5 years and there is a lot of potential for great orchestral stuff with free plugins :)

The percussion is so cool at the beginning! It's super intense, and I think that it fits the theme that you were going for perfectly. I also like the bell sounds right after them, they give the track an intense sense of eeriness, and a lot of atmosphere. Great work :)

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Dude, absolutely insane bassline, keep it up! And I'd appreciate it if you had any tips for learning music theory, or just how you went about making that bassline, because I'd love to make stuff like that in the future, but anyways, amazing :D
