There should be a 3 rail O gauge engine made of that locomotive.

What a great return on your investment! I’d bring my Mrs. for a ride, but we wouldn’t get very far very fast ……. cause she’d be asking you to stop at every flower or plant so she could ask what it was …… well done, I tip my hat to you 🙂

There could have been some narrative about the railroad and location. It would have been nice to see the train.

Awesome. If I had this in my back yard I'd make my wife carry a radio and have her activate my track warrants any time I'd use it. Make her talk to me in that sexy dispatch voice.

These kinds of tracks seem to be all over the country, but I’ve never been aware of one. Are they on private property usually? And who hosts the conventions? Are they open to the public?
@locomotive110 Жыл бұрын
If you are ever in New Zealand there are a large number of tracks most 3 1/2 , 5 and 7 1/4 amazing for such a small country.. I have been surprised at how few tracks / clubs there are here in Canada by comparison to NZ and Australia.

I visited Dave's shop in spring 2002 I think. Hes the greatest, most accomplished, NG livesteamer ever, IMO. Bill Boller's K-36 was being built by Dave, when I was there.

What sucks about this project is the fact that this guy probably had to bring the materials he used to put this railroad together in with either a lawnmower, or an ATV.

You must've been sitting in Business Class that day? I wasn't even intending to film this when I got on the train but the setting sun was just too nice not to. It turned out that this was my last trip on a nice evening along the sound. I rode one last time on November 12th, but unfortunately the weather wasn't that great.

At 5:43, does anyone know what all the machinery is for? Looks like a vertical steam boiler for a donkey engine, with 2 recip steam engines, and at least 3 lines & redirects.

Those of you who hit the dislike button if you don’t like trains don’t bother looking at the video then you don’t have to hit the dislike button. It’s offensive to the man or the person who made this video a beautiful video a very nice one and he is she does not need criticism for something they put a lot of work into.
