Turtuk was ruled by yabgoo dynasty from khaplu ( now in PoK) not from turtuk.there was no seperate kingdom in turtuk.. Gulab sing (Dogra kingdom) conquered the entire Baltistan in 1840. Since then (till 1947 ) the region was part of then princely state. So I doubt there was any king in Turtuk .seems just a hype. though he may be a descendants of yabgo dynasty.. this does make him king of Turtuk..

Turtuk par kisi ka na raaj tha aur na hoga. Bohot pehle yahan par ek Aryan raja hua karta tha. Jin ko chuli aur yangdrung ne shikast di aur turtuk mai bas gye tab se yahan kisi ka raaj nahi hai aur inhi donong se pheli aabadi hai.
