This plane is for sale again in AZ. What can you tell me about it? I don't think it has been flown much? Was it an air-cooled 3300 or water cooled?

Is that oil canning from the sides of the fuselage we are hearing? I have always wanted to build one of these, but I am 6’, 185 pounds and heard the cockpit on these planes are very small, even by aviation standards. How tall are you and what do you think. What about width when flying with two?

Yes it is. I am 5' 5" and it worked well for me and my brother flew it and he's 5' 11" I believe. So you would probably be ok but it would be a bit tight. As far as shoulder room it wasn't bad since we had the bubble doors. If you just had the normal doors it would've been really tight with 2 bigger people.

What engine are you running? Are those the stock tires that come in the kit?
@clayhostetler5924 жыл бұрын
Jabiru 3300. The front tire I believe would be the stock tires but the back ones we put on. Also the plane is for sale if you'd be interested.

@@clayhostetler592 Thanks for the reply. Its possible I would be interested in it but it would have to be for the right price. I am new to all this but kind of looking forward to building one.

@@Jeremybaland no problem. Yeah I've always thought it would be fun to build a plane. And if you're interested in the zenith message me on facebook if you dont mind.

I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but a direct 'Over the Shoulder' camera view would be superior to an angled view: 1. The direct OtSV provides much the same view as that of the pilot, while allowing us (the viewers) to also note how you handle the controls in a given situation, while also being able to see the instrument panel. 2. This 'dual' view is more interesting that just the one we get from angled view. Lastly, I would suggest you buy an entry level lapel mic (about $20 from Wally World or Amazon), so that everything you are saying is very easily understood: CONTEXT allows us to better understand the video we are seeing! Thank you for the videos; I'll continue to watch, as I'm considering the 701, along with the Titan Tornado SS, as my 'bush plane' for when I move to Alaska (I currently live in Central WY). I've subscribed and punched the little 'bell' for notifications of future videos.

Hey thanks for the tips! I'll try that next time I make a video.

Hello, whats do you opinión about diameter a blade of 70in or go to 68in for a rotax 912s in Zenith 701? Now I thinking cut my prop. I ma clear about that the engine reach the 5,500rpm in any configuration. I have vortex instead slats because I want gain few knowts in cruise. and with less inch at blade could it increase speed...what do you think Mr? Thanks, regards from México.

Hey that's a great question. I dont know what to tell you. Call into Rotax or Zenith Aircraft Co, and one of them should be able to give you some info on that. What prop are you using?

Sweeeeeeet! Do you by chance recommend any good LUTS for editing in post production? I just got the Mavic Pro 2 & I'm excited to see how the footage looks! I'm trying to find some great LUTS for the drone footage. 😀

Hey thanks! No not really. For me its different for every video.

Thanks Ed! I use Kinemaster.

Thanks for the reply Clay! Just getting into drone cinematography myself and figuring stuff out! Do you colour grade or just cut the clips?
@clayhostetler5926 жыл бұрын
Thats great! I do a little color grading but I try to leave it fairly original. Most of the stuff i shoot is pretty enough already so i dont do very much at all.
@Edgar-iq8zc6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So I’m assuming you shoot in auto with no ND filters or anything?
@clayhostetler5926 жыл бұрын
@@Edgar-iq8zc In auto for the most part and I do run ND filters.
