This is so cool. Will be using this technique too. Very good demonstration. Met all the objectives clearly and visually. Thank you Christine. And now I also need to make this pillow.

This has arrived for me (11/2024) in the nick of time as I have 6 pillows to make to match a quilt I just finished. Love this tutorial and a new way for zipper placement. So much easier than and invisible zipper in the seam line. Thank You! Christine !

@AmelieScott24 күн бұрын
@@NiNiRaabe11 I would recommend the maxi size snap hoop. I believe it is 210mm x 400mm. We have them available of our website: ameliescott.com/product/snap-hoop-monster/ If you check in with mark at [email protected] I believe he might be able to give you a coupon code.

@@nancybryant Sure it would, you would just do a lot more of the moving the fabric around after you pin. We have done this with 2 TV trays side by side in a class.

@@paullettegreeno248 Sounds like you are not connecting the B file to the A file. Do you own the Edge to Edge Quilting on Your EMbroidery Machine book? The entire method is laid out in that publication. It’s a great book as we are celebration 10 years of it being a top selling book.

I learned so much from this tutorial! First, the batting in the binding--Genius!! Second, the 1/4 inch mark on the 1/4 inch foot!! How did I miss that-all these miles of binding? Third, I was hand stitching L-R, or more like top to bottom. I'm excited to try R-L. Fourth, I hope I can find that needle threader!! Thank you very much for making this video. I messed up once and had to rotate the A file. Yes, it started on opposite side, but most times I ended up at the right spot (or PDC) where ending point (actually A file starting point) came out at the previous design ending point. It can be done. Not ideal, though.
@dorisr28322 ай бұрын
Reply to myself...I meant the A file ending points met together where the previous pass ended and the next pass SHOULD have started but ended there instead after starting on the opposite side.

Hey, don't DIS the accent! It is lovely to hear for us who are far away from our home stomping grounds. Understand her just fine. Makes me homesick. I am from Oklahoma, lived in Tennessee and now am in Idaho where they talk really funny. Talk like they got a mouthful of taters. They think I talk funny as well. She is saying it properly for a Texan or Oklahoman. We got our own dialect. I say it the same way.
