When eventing dressage has become more beautiful than "modern" dressage. Thank you for sharing this great performance. Look how calm and confident the horse looks after the ride.

And in a single bridle! Just a snaffle! I'm not a fan of modern dressage, so to see it done so classically and so well is just beautiful. Ingrid is my go to when I need reminding of what good dressage looks like ❤

Dressage at top levels is ABUSIVE to the horse. PERIOD!
@Sp3llw0rk9 ай бұрын
that's not true. ther are more black sheeps than good horsemans in these competitions anyway. this has to change or the sport will come to an end.

a little late to the party but didn't two other horses activate that pin prior to Burto? i dont' recall anyone mentioning it or the fact that those prior horses had been awarded penalties also...

Starting with - In the first 10 minutes of the ring-side ‘commentary/presenters’ team - two truely excruciating sound-bites concerning Klimke [both by women] : where do you get these people. Unsubbed.

There’s something about the female commentator’s voice which grates.

Why did the do the show jumping before the cross country?
@beckygamble7563 жыл бұрын
That is the order in short format. Dressage, Showjumping then Cross country. Only on a long format is it dressage, cross country and showjumping on different days. Hope that helps,

Forward and correct. No frills, no spectacle. She has clearly never used “stretchies” to get any of her horses to do high action. Thanks! #IngridKlimke #Vorbild #refuseabuse #forthehorse

stupid replay about 1.40.07 and another replay of the exact rider and jump before that. horses go forwards not the stupid to-ing and fro-ing that's shown.
@Kateyangyuqing4 жыл бұрын
When I first saw this comment it puzzled me. Now I know what you're referring to - Gemma and Quicklook V. That replay isn't for the amusement for spectators like us. It was requested by the ground jury so that they can have a close look at whether the horse and rider are reasonably within the bounds of the obstacle or whether they should be awarded with penalties. Because it happens so quickly and this particular case was hard to judge they needed it replayed back to them in whatever way they needed to make a fair judgement. You'll see this more often if you keep watching live stream eventing, which I definitely encourage you to do - definitely the best sport around in my opinion :D
@kop-uv2dx3 жыл бұрын
have you been watching this without sound or is English not your first language? because the commentators explain pretty well the reason behind the replays... (English isn't my first language and I haven't been watching Eventing long, but I don't have any trouble with understanding the reasons behind the replays (even think it's a great feature!)

So, retracting lead flying out behind, dog loose, & running after horse & rider... chap steps out and goes to try and plant a foot on the lead... and at that precise moment... yep, the cameras go elsewhere... duh... meanwhile the two main commentators continue with their usual metronomic performances: thank god Zara was there to interject some real ‘live’ anecdotal coverage...

All this retched music these events keep playing in the background is an absolute unpleasant distraction:(( It is a horse event in the countryside not a cheap tacky party!!! It needs to stop at all these events. It stops me and many others from watching. Its horrid.
@juliamarple32024 жыл бұрын
Couldn't watch this because of the dreadful annoying music in the background . Why do these modern equestrian events have to play music all the time. it is really unbearable . we want to concentrate on the riding and horses, not go to a cheap tacky party.
@theascensionark90194 жыл бұрын
What the HELL is this music for? I find it incredibly distracting and intrusive! Riding is beautiful. I want to see the riding and hear the commentary only.
