Before Warhammer Total War was really an anti-war game. It depicted war as something horrendous and apocalyptic.

I mean kinda? I think you’re over-exaggerating it. In the gameplay, war wasn’t really depicted horrendous and apocalyptic, it was the core part of the game and the whole point was to push you to war. The atmosphere in total wars were never really depressing or apocalyptic other than Attila. I agree some of the music made in M2TW and RTW were “anti-war” but overall the games themselves never really had a theme or a message of it

@@mrfootfxtish9430 Attila was definitely the most brutal of all the TW games, but the anti-war message was always there. Even in the older games when you were given the opportunity to execute prisoners from a defeated army, or even an entire massive city like Constantinople or London, then you felt the gravity of that action in a way that the newer games just haven’t depicted since Attila.

I always loved how the early TW games made a point to paint the wars as tragic and deadly even as you are intended to fight them. It's not just smacking around enemies, there's a small amount of anti-war thinking in the music direction and sound effects.

Polyphony and Celtic chant music from British and Ireland made its way over eventually to the USA When Christopher Columbus went over 1492,.. a lot of the culture of Britain in Ireland came over too the new land which became the USA bringing its own influence in to America. So blues music did not and was not the soul creator of rock and roll as we are led to believe,... Yes it had an influence but so did Britain in England and Ireland. Music is as a diverse as the world. Not one race created, rock and roll.
