If it wasn't a really fucking good song, Isbell wouldn't have said anything, with his woke ass. Don't get me wrong, I love Jason Isbell and some of his work. But he does have a woke problem. If you look at the woke way he books artists at the Ryman every year .. theres definitely a convo to be had about it, Plus, the song id rather throw away before Oliver's, is " Alabama pines" by Isbell. He does have some great work too tho. Don't get me wrong. Divine Light #432 hz . P.s. the most ridiculous part of Isbell's sentiments is " you don't just jump in the fucking pool".... Whose "pool"? And how did Isbell get his start ??? How did any artists ever get their start????? By jumping in that " pool". The drama amongst **some** musicians is proof that the 440 standard tuning needs to change. #432hz #528hz #444hz

Lovejoy doesn’t really post on their Instagram way too much unless they’re really on tour. Don’t ask me how I know.

Well, quote from TheMirror "Lovejoy has announced no plans to expel Wilbur nor disband. In fact, they're still set for a future in the music industry. They wrote: "We hope to keep you updated on this in the coming months and look forward to bringing you a more positive announcement in the future." The Mirror contacted Lovejoy for comment.

I liked this one. I’m from Wisconsin, I’m definitely a Homer from there. But listening to Brit talking about the music talent from Kentucky warms the heart.

Saw him last month at Radio City in NY and saw him last night in Atlanta. Jason glows in the dark. None better in the music world right now. Very engaging and appreciative at both shows. PS. I miss Amanda and those fiddle solos.

And then he apologized for not getting back to me right away, stating “I’m not really good at replying to things “ So I messaged him on Facebook and Instagram within two days and he didn’t get back to me for another week by then we had the party taking care of, and he never got back to me until a week later

I’ve had the pleasure to meet Matt Patton a few times. He was always very gracious and nice to the fans. Years ago a few friends and I took him record shopping in Milwaukee and he’s he was a DJ at the time in his spare time before he had the recording studio, so he was perusing some 45s at a record store, and he was just in his own zone. Like I said Matt , it’s showtime we got to go and he goes man if you didn’t stop me, I would’ve spent all my money on vinyl l. which I think would’ve been hilarious

She played cowbell with the Vandoliers in Yorkville, Illinois for the Wilco song casino Queen. Well, not technically in that band they know us by name and she played did that with them so I count that.

I do have a 5 disc cd player too. For when the kids are here. Can’t be spinning wax when kids are running around. My collection is your cliche rock bands. You know the ones. Plus all the DBT albums. DBT actually helped me get back into it. I was in it, my friends and I were before it was cool. But DBT and smaller bands were selling wax at their shows waaaayyyyyy before it was cool for everyone.

Lots of records I have were my dads. In fact I have my grandparents 78s. I’m always on the lookout for garage sale stuff. Along with a shit ton of 45s. She always talks about Son Volt and Day of the Doug. So when Lucia and I were hanging out, we stopped at a record store. She found something that her mom would enjoy so I did think twice about buying in for her. There’s much more to that story.

All the DBT guys are cool as ice ice baby. Jay and Matt Patton are the coolest. Always ready for a quick hello and a chat. Brad Morgan, the drummer is a bit of an introvert when it comes to aftershow but if you see him outside smoking before the show he’ll do the same thing as the other two. Cooley and Patterson though are different animal. Especially aftershow they just want to get on the bus and relax, which makes sense usually on their solo tour. They are a little bit relaxed and a little bit more approachable because they know they do signings after and meet and greet and all that kind of shit. I’m at Patterson bunch of times cool twice , Brad took a safety pin from me one time in Chicago to Gonzalez hangs out with us you know and Matt Patton is just a solid fella who likes shitty beer.
