Great video. Thanks for it. From which month to which month are the boat trips? What are the best places in downtown for BBQ, burgers and Cheesesteak Sandwiches? Greetings to Cleveland from Germany.

Mabels BBQ on E 4th St is good. So is Real Smoqwd BBQ on Lorain ( 3829 ) in Ohio City. Many places around town have decent burgers but some you need car to get to. Zaytoon or Hecks are pretty good and can be walked to. Cleveland Burger Week is coming in July 8-14 2024 so do a search for website. Participating restaurants have 8 dollar burgers all week.

I lived in Cleveland for 6 yrs. but after several sever illness from pneumonia, my doctors recommended that I move to a warmer climate. I chose Florida over California. My Papa's ancestors came from Germany and settled near Wausau, Wisconsin, were many German speaking relatives lived. I enjoyed my years in Cleveland very much and fell in love with all of the beautiful trees in the city parks, particularly on the west side. I wish you well on your relocation there. Cleveland is in the process of remaking itself, from the loss of many industries to China. We former Clevelanders hope it will make a terrific comeback!

Thank you for this overview of Cleveland beaches! I'm new to Ohio, so I had no idea Cleveland even had beaches! I'm from New Jersey where the whole Eastern side of the state is pretty much a beach, so I am happy to find that I will be able to enjoy beaches here too :)

Nobody seems to talk much about the beautiful beaches in the Great Lakes area. As somebody who moved from Germany, we were pleasantly surprised by this. Of course, it's not the Atlantic Ocean but on the other hand you don't have to deal with salt water, sharks or other nasty stuff. Sailing, water sports, swimming... Summers in Cleveland are amazing. You will love it!

Also, right across Huntington Beach you can enjoy BayArt, they have lots festivities in the summer time, music, art, food trucks and fairs…very lovely!

I moved to Cleveland two years ago from California. I love it here! People born in Cleveland do not understand WHY I would pick Ohio to move to? Nothing to do here…that’s what they keep telling me! I can make a long list of the reasons that make me feel in love with Cleveland and a longer list of reasons to leave California…long very Long! I ❤ Cleveland!

The portrait with the cool glasses that you liked was Jeptha Wade. He is the man who funded Wade Oval and the Art museum. He is the reason the Art museum is free to this day. He made his money by inventing Western Union. (I used to teach at CWRU on Juniper. I spent my lunchtimes there as often as I could.

Thank you! The camera was a Canon R5 with the 28-70 F2.0 lens and a gimbal to balance the camera and keep it steady which made a big difference for these night shoots. Filming was done in 4k HDR.

I’m sure that cities like St. Louis and Cleveland will get more attention and experience fair re-evaluation & re-branding in the upcoming years when people look into alternatives to the overpriced markets. Our cities have some work to do in the meanwhile though. There’s a ton of potential and still way too many who are less fortunate to enjoy the beautiful parts of these locations.

Spot on! Cleveland's bad reputation is based on outdated info and people who have not visited this city for decades. I would pick it over any place in the Midwest and even most in the US. Overall, the Great Lakes area will be a winner in intensifying shifting climate patterns. Our personal preference is a place where winters are much shorter, but that's nothing you can blame on Cleveland ;-)
