This looks like it will have some original tasks! I think one of them may be "earn 11 points", but just by looking at this footage, I can't figure out what the other ones might be adaptations of.

This clip has just made me realise that Taskmaster is nothing without the wrath of Greg. I adore the show, but tasks & Alex alone is not nearly enough

The NZ version is pretty good, even thought their Taskmaster has a void for a personality. Also, the Aussie version is pretty good, even though their Taskamaster's Assistant is equally afflicted.

I love this series of taskmaster I was so sad it only was an 8 ep series. Maybe the tasks that didn't make it to the final cut can be made for 2 special episodes for this series.

Having the contestants do horribly and Greg be disappointed has proved to be the most funny parts, and illustrates the genius of how its all a big waste of time but sometimes we get to laugh and enjoy hilarious moments created by Alex's tasks. However, this seems like a poor task altogether. It should have been best flag and flagpole instead of the cement base. Very peculiar and not likely to be accomplishable or interesting to watch failures of. They need more creative range to be able to fail with hilarious outcomes.

Now you say it, I think I have seen a video in which it was stated that cement mixer truck drivers tend to carry a couple of big bottles of coke, just in case they need to pour it in to prevent the cement setting.

My immediate thought was how sugar is used to sabotage building projects by ruining the concrete. They were all sabotaged from the start by Alex

Agreed, my top three would be this one, series 7 and series 9 but I have to agree all of them are very good! I’ve only watched up to series 15 so far but I’m sure the others will be good too

This was not really like "Carrot in a Box." This was much more like that New Zealand task where they had ducks in buckets and most ducks won.

Not really like it, apart from the exchange of carrots in boxes? Yes, similar to that NZ task, but the Norwegian one came first. Interestingly, the NZ task writers claim not to have been aware of the Norwegian task when they came up with their own version of it. The Swedish and Danish versions of Taskmaster have also done variations on the task. taskmaster.info/mastertask.php?id=401

I'm sure Avalon would happily sell the rights to the format to a production company in English-speaking Canada, if they wanted it. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

@@taskmasterinfo I haven't had a tv package since I moved out of my parents home at 20. If they don't have an official channel like this one, or someone illegally uploads it(which I appreciate, sorry TM, if you are more convenient I will choose you every time), I wouldn't really know I guess. Traditional television isn't convenient. Streaming sites aren't convenient as they once were. That all shows and networks aren't doing the same as TM is stupid.
