Man you freaking rip! I sat with my jaw dropped the whole vid. Partly because of the riding, but also the views! I was like how is this guy not getting a flat, and then 15secs later cut to you with a c02. Two questions - How are you finding the level brakes? I have the same brakes on my epic 8. I live where its fairly flat, and I feel like they are kind of garbage. Might be the intend brakes on my enduro bike that has ruined me. But I honestly feel like they're not enough. Do you feel they're enough, or would you want something with more bite? And - What C02 inflator is that, seemed like it screwed on to the valve? Looked super handy

Thanks! In the past I’ve had a hard time getting along with sram brakes but I’ve been really been liking these new levels. They came stock with organic pads and felt very weak. I then swapped to metal pads and found they made a huge difference. I think with medal pads and 180 hs2 rotors the levels start to perform pretty well. Like you said, they’re no big enduro brake haha I definitely have to manage heat on long steep descents. The Co2 inflater was the tip of a OneUp pump. They’re removable and can screw onto a canister. Pretty handy if you’re wanting to keep things small!

@ Gotcha! Yeah I miss the initial bite from a decent pad, but still feel like I need to pull a bit too hard. Might try a pair of metallic pads, what brand/version did you go with? I’ll check out the oneup pump!

@ Yea the organic pads are quite lacklustre with bite. I just tossed in the SRAM metallic ones. When swapping to metallic pads you have to make sure you have a fresh rotor surface. I hit mine with a good sand paper before bedding them in.
