Why does mine open by itself after a while ? Is there a switch i need to flip?

Gate is a Lawsuit waiting to happen if some kids leg gets caught in fence wrung and snapped by the gate. And, when the gate reverses it would still cause physical injury to the child or other person or pet.

I must say that chain driven gates aren't my thing but how does this gate hold up years later

Thanks for the video. I purchased an Aleko AC1400 from the manufacturer in Washington state. Biggest mistake of 2020. The instructions could have been more useful in braille. I see that you installed the gate on the right side. We had to install ours on the left, which reverses the open and close features. We tried to install the child safety sensors and since the opener is on the left side the sensor would act in reverse and close when triggered (sensor interrupted) instead of opening. Is there a way to program the opener to act accordingly? I know I can't change the setting of the sensor and if I don't correct this I would not pass inspection. Can anyone advise?

NEVER EVER EVER EVER order one of these fine pieces of shit. We spent over a years time with many hours of extra work, a new mother board, an entire new unit, and many hours of cursing to only have the gate opener work properly for 2 weeks. Fuck Aleko, and fuck their shitty products built by 7 year old slave workers in China.
