Economy- Inflation and unemployment dropped a few percentage points during Ford only to have Carter to make it worse. Many of the things Ford wanted to achieve,he couldn't get accomplished due to Democratic Majority control of the House and Senate.

"I'm not a saint, and I'm sure I have done things I might have done better or differently, or not are all. I have also left undone things that I should have done. But I believe I have been honest with myself and with others, that I have been faithful to my friends and fair to my opponents, and that I have tried my very best to make this great Government work for the good of all AMERICANS."

If I remember correctly , the 66 year old Rockefeller had a long haired 10 year old son which only a few years earlier may have scandalized much of Washington D.C . Please tell me if my memory is correct or not

Thankfully it was someone reasonable and sane like Gerald Ford who took over From Richard Nixon and not MR. " bagman " Spiro Agnew

the VP is the President of the Senate. So why would the President of the Senate need permission to address the legislative body he is the president of?

Mr. President God helping you you never let us down. However, I wrote you a letter once when you were in Southern California while with my family in northern California and mentioned to you that some day we may face a civil war. The leftists brought over 10 million illegal immigrants within the last couple of years making it difficult in crime, drugs and the leftists still ignore the preconditions of the civil war. We still rely on prayers and we ask you to pray for righteousness in America 🇺🇸. GHU JW

President Ford would have been deeply disappointed and saddened in how America - especially politically - has become so toxic and divisive.

President Ford would have found Trump and the MAGA movement abhorrent and repulsive on all counts. President Ford was a team-player - got along with everyone.

Imagine...fast forward. Trump croaks shortly after taking office Jan. 25. JD Vance becomes President and nominates Marjorie Taylor Greene at VP with her "distinguished service" of 6 years as a member of the House. How much this country has regressed!

7:18 I love how Nixon here grins and raises both eyebrows because he knows how not that powerful the office of the VP was during that era-as he himself was VP under Eisenhower.

Garrett Graff is part of the Aspen Institute (which is funded by the US govt) - Garrett and Vivian Schiller were part of an orchestrated disinformation campaign around the Hunter Biden laptop story. He is a Govt funded dis-info agent.

He resigned due to taking bribes while governor of MD after he said "I WILL NOT RESIGN IF INDICTED " Also, the guy behind Ford's left was Mississippi's own James O Eastland. A notorious racist who made George Wallace look like Abe Lincoln.

There were three Vice Presidents throughout the Presidential Term Period effective 1/20/1973-1/20/1977. Spiro Agnew (1973 - resigned), Gerald Ford (1973-1974 - succeeded when Nixon resigned), and finally Rockefeller, who Ford nominated.
