You don't need to speak in such a evil voice...And nice choice of music by the way.

The Roman commander makes absolutely sure. His funeral is the same as his last auxiliary. As all individuals belong the same way to Rome. Music is bad in this video. Pictures no good. Less than half of the talking is close to reality. And it's not real human. However, we must thank those who made the video, for their amateur attempt to be humble servants of Rome.

I know every content creator excuses themselves in advance for not pronouncing some foreign names correctly, in order to avoid a deluge of comments, so much that it is becoming an Internet meme.. That's not what I'm getting at here I'm only pointing out in the interest of knowledge how the name of the main character is actually pronounced in French this will just add a little bit of spice. So the name is pronounced Dant’ess, with an S sound that we are very much familiar with in English the reason it is pronounced that way is because of the accent (è) on the E in the original French text. So I don't expect anybody to shine in society with this knowledge but just add a tidbit. Best regards.

I was led to believe and this video does not shake my conviction , that the true story behind this novel was in the life of Dumas' own father. i read a serious biography of General Thomas- Alexandre Dumas. It is called the Black Count: Revolution , Betrayal and the Real Count of Monte Cristo, by Tom Reiss published 2013. It won a Pulitzer Prize for biography the son of the Caribbean slave girl and a French aristocrat, a soldier of genius Thomas-Alexandre became a general under Napoleon Bonaparte, served with the Corsican in Egypt but on the way back to France ( the two fell out ) he was betrayed and imprisoned in a castle in Italy. it wrecked his life and health. as Bonaparte envied him he was not given the pension he deserved after he finally returned to France and he died broken ill and penniless in 1806 I

Yes revenge is, there is no justice in this world it rarely rarely ever happens. Look at the next president He betrayed abused cheated lied, slandered, stole, betrayed the entire country and now he's becoming president again Where's the Justice in that

Click bait. Nothing presented here is no different than most battlefields and there are a number inaccuracies. The sad music is out of place and over dramatic.

Every battlefield Large army of size like Rome, Persians, Greek, etc; operated in this way with some differences. Each detachment had a specific purpose. While Frontline soldiers went amino a mono the detachments, poised to join the battle of necessary, had to wait to do their cleanup jobs. While they did their jobs, the still in tact Frontline soldiers ate and rested before the road March to next battlefield.

Then the Roman’s came up with a grand idea, even better than concrete. They invented the Vatican and organized Christianity. The best way to extract wealth, much better than legions and war.

True, especially historical examples; they are remarkably lighter than the modern mind would imagine - but anyone who has done live-blade cutting, HEMA, or Buhurt (or even simple SCA fighting with rattan) will know that the physical fatigue from after even just minutes of swinging with any meaningful purpose becomes incredible - even with the weight of a pound or two (or a few hundred grams if you prefer). I have been refereeing (called marshalling) Buhurt tournaments for over 7 years, and competing in most current tourney formats for longer. :)

IGNORANCE IS INSOLENT Min 1:55 often is more on luck than actual medical science .... God. A Roman legionary had access to better medical treatment in the area of combat than a soldier in the Crimean War. 19 centuries later
