Nikolett Nagy It's more of a "good bye" as in "we'll meet soon again", while "sayonara" means "farewell" or "good bye"

I'm learning Japanese on my own :P But Mata ne originally meant something across these lines! But I've read that when they say it to someone on a letter or when they leave, it means see you again ('again)

I don't really think he has the voice for this :P It sounds like it'd be much better in Japansese, it doesn't really fit with English.
