Like have the services and the docker inside that LXC. Like it's a docker LXC for me and i have services in there. Instead of having a VM. Thanks.

GPT4: you can synchronize OMV with AD by configuring the Samba service to use the AD server as the authentication source. This involves editing the Samba configuration file to point to the AD server and then joining the OMV server to the AD domain using the "net ads join" command. Ztech, can you make a video on how to shrink an array? I don't have any room and drives to combine any currently. I am replacing 2 parity drives then upgrading to 12 tb data drives for storage. I have all 4tb currently. I was hoping to place a 12tb in, rebuild from parity, then combine at least one drive into the new 12tb. Then I can just replace the empty 4tb, insert the next 12tb, and then combine 2 or more 4tb into that 12.

There is one huge advantage that I found OMV has over trunascale. Particularly for somebody on a budget or if they have non-matching hard drives. OMV will support you through merger FS and snap raid while you have to have a perfectly set up system for true net scale

Z: question, do you have experience setting up logging on TN scale? did a bit of research.. ppl are using prometheus and grafana but didnt manage to get it work for apps, also would be nice to get logging for the system as well :/ not many guides out there

Nah. OMV is nice, but not having an option to save/restore the configuration. Truenas Scale is getting there, but still lacking many options/choices when creating VMs. So you do this for a living and keep your data in Raid mode instead of the much much safer (and faster to rebuild) mirror mode?

The statment regarding ID identifier and using the mac address is wrong, this is what their website says: MAC address. Using MAC as a client identifier is only possible when AdGuard Home works as the network's DHCP serve. So you saying that you can only use MAC address if it is not your DHCP server is incorrect.
