These moves are not the traditiobal moves of Tai chi Ch'uan i learnt. It is more yang & i am looking for Ch'uan! Dissppointing but beautidul!

He's the current lineage holder within Yang family. There are many traditional lineages but I hope you aren't say that this is not traditional Tai Chi

I have looked at other comments and I agree with the ones who say this master gives excellent clarity on his instruction. Great command of English language and excellent teaching skills. I believe that not everybody who knows, can teach. Not everyone has the skill but this master can do both.

Shame, the choice of totally unrelated music totally destroyed the mood of the performance.

Hi Master Yang. I wish i could learn from you in person. But i watch your videos, and look so carefully to don't miss anything. I consistently practice 70 minute per week. I learned Fist under the elbow, and now I amlearning Snake creeps down. Tai Chi changed my life style, and the way I move, and stand. Wish you well🌱

It's called the "senior form" but it actually looks a lot more complex and explicitly martial than the traditional form. I like how Master Yang has added more complex footwork and transitions to issue and receive energy in multiple directions.

@spiral272 Hi Trevor, Master Yang created this form to be used at the Asian Senior Games and similar competitions. That is why has a diversity of movements and all the essential elements of Yang Family tai chi chuan. The only movement that is not included in recognition of the advanced age of the practitioners who will be performing it is snake creeps down or single whip/low form.

@@Sulingboyde thank you for the information. I know Master Yang quite well personally. I trained with him in Seattle in the 2000's. He is hands down the single most accomplished martial artist I have ever met! I really love this form. It is so concise yet so inclusive of the spirit of Yang style.
