Hope you pushed out 5 early Benjamin🙃 I worked 17 yrs for Southwest and i'll just say that i enjoyed let's say 16 of them. Retired but Southwest has in many stations created Toxic & Hostile work environments and all The Palace cares about are 5 minute or more early pushes, bag drop times, fail to load bags, etc. A huge part of Southwest Leadership in 2024 were hired off the street with zero or very little airline experience and unfortunately these are The Go to People when the Shiznit hits the fan. I used to ❤ seeing Mt. Hood come into view when I was flying into PDX, it meant I would be home shortly. I lived in SE Portland, about a 15 minute drive from PDX. Now, I know when we fly over the Sierra Nevada/Lake Tahoe area I'll be landing at SFO or OAK in 30 minutes & THEN be at home like an hour later. 😂

Best part is the Red line MAX Train station that's literally right there as you exit baggage claim. Buy a ticket, hop on the train and you're on your way downtown....I attended Kumoricon 2022 and had 2 meals at PDX, namely lunch just after arrival, and lunch again before my departure back home. Very relaxing. It's smaller than Sea-Tac and Sea-Tac is smaller than my home airport IAH. But it's a nice airport and was a pleasant part of my trip. Special shout out to the uniformed UA agent who helped me check my bag and made sure I got my United Milage plus points applied correctly.

I started a collage of Southwest Airlines aircraft today 5/22/2021 and part of me wishes Southwest would make BWI Marshall the permanent home of this beauty. Been a MD resident nearly 35 years and haven't flown any airline except Southwest for 20+ years! Never seen this aircraft in person.
