Stalin did not destroy the monument of freedom also because Vera Muhina was the student of sculptor Karlis Zale. Instead, she advised to call Milda as fatherland Russia and 3 stars as three Baltic Soviet republics. But Stalin hated the monument and that is why he tried to do what he could to damage it without giving open order to destroy it.That is why cars were allowed to drive by it, so vibrations and in the best case some accident would damage it. But God stands by the monument of freedom the same as he did when he stood by the Latvian flag at the top of the presidential palace which was ordered to destroy.

I’m very touched by this beautiful art summer camp/venue. The peace and deep joy that both the artists and a little children exude is very poignant. I’m so glad that Tartu experienced such a Blessing, and hope that Imaginations will occur again.
