This newtown is the brainchild of communist leader Gautam Dev, the ex minister of WB govt. It was named as Jyoti Basu Nagar, the person who made the dream true. Shame to Mamata who wants to remove Basu's name and in fact damaged the prosperity of Newtown after coming to power by hooliganism of syndicates.

We need a lot more IT companies in Kolkata,I don't know when will our govt look after it and those taking about Bangalore in comment section I just want to tell you the city is now choked,unlimited traffic and pollution,I am in Hyderabad now and its also going to the same place like Bangalore,companies are important but if govt fails to manage them they should not bring them,Kolkata on other hand have way lower companies than what it should but the only thing I found is the new city is very well planned
