@@marioasbo9613 that’s a 4070 ti bro not a 4070, also it’s on 1440p ultra graphics - I’m looking for lowest graphic settings, 1080p with a RTX 4070 paired with i5 10400

@@Benfuze the fps will be the same as the lowest graphic settings. (when graphics are low the bottleneck is in CPU)

@@marioasbo9613 nah I play competitive and when I have ultra settings (in game menus) i get lower fps, that’s why I put everything on low like the pros do

@@Benfuze if you play competitive look for the best CPU & Monitor. GPU is not important because you will play low graphics

Hace un poco de cuello de botella en el CPU, pero no diría "mala decisión". el i5-10400 da unos 200 FPS en modo rendimiento y la 4070 TI te permite jugar con gráficos al máximo en 1440P. Así que podrás jugar a todo con el máximo rendimiento aunque el combo no este del todo equilibrado... jaja

El i5 10400f y la 4070 para 1440p seria buen combo? La gente habla del cuello de botella a ciertas resoluciones pero realmente no me importa usualmente solo busco calidad grafica ultra minimo 60 frames

Yo tengo la rtx 4070 TI, y me hace cuello de botella (de 10% aprox) Pero es a partir de 100 - 150FPS el cuello de botella. supongo que a ti también te hará un poco de cuello de botella pero en tu caso creo que no lo notarias.... Ten en cuenta que el 12400f esta por 150 Euros. Lo del gta 6 nadie lo sabe.... Se rumorea que será pesado gráficamente por un video filtrado donde están jugando con una rtx 2080 TI a unos 30-35 FPS, pero aun faltan años de optimización, además en PC llegara años mas tarde, mínimo 2026 así que esto es imposible de saber.

there must be something wrong with my computer I have the same specs except the 32 gb ram I have 16 ram but my fps in epic mode jumps from low to 110 sometimes and the cpu is showing high temp like 90c. What could it be the cpu needs service or the lack of ram?

1- Are you using the ram in dual/quad channel & DDR4? make sure you do 2-the cpu should be allways lower than 90c maybe should check the termal paste, cooling system of CPU, airflow of computer.... 3- if none of that.... im not sure what could be the problem. Maybe the lack of RAM force the system to use the Disk (SWAP space) as part of the ram, that could cause big variation in FPS rate. (try close all othe programs while playing and verify disk usage whith windows task manager while playing) if disk is usually using while gamming then Use a SSD/M.2 in Windows instation or buy more RAM. To know the real usage of CPU use windows task manager, and the real usage of GPU use MSI afterburner. 16GB should be okay nowadays but soon will be obsolete

@@marioasbo9613 I fixed the high temp yesterday (the heatsink wasn't properly placed) the problem continued tho the fps weren't stable, I am using quad channel ddr4, yes, maybe you're using windows 11? I'm on win10, sadly I changed my thermal paste at the morning and it went worse at temp so I'm just like the beginning I was planning to save some money but this went worse so I don't have options but to update to i7 14700 in some weeks.

I fixed the issue and it was all the cpu tempt he fps stops being stable if it surpasses 75-80C for me if I mantain it below 75 it runs as smooth as the video here and gpu usage goes 77% if the cpu doesn't get too hot if it surpasses 80c the gpu usage drops isntantly... I never cared about temps until now and it is really important for the performance during hard tasks for the cpu. just putting the comment here in case anyone have similar issues xd

im glad you fix it😀. The temps are very important to durability of components so make sure the termal paste and heatsink is properly placed, i hope the CPU are not damaged. If you live in hot cuntry consider open the computer tower or buy big aftermarket heatsink (are cheap)

Los juegos actuales no usan mas de 6 hilos, si compras un i5 pero de mayor generación le sacaras mas rendimiento....Para gamming es mas importante el rendimiento mono núcleo que la cantidad de hilos. por ejemplo te renta mas un i5-12400. De todas forma es buena combinación.

Will have bottleneck in CPU. I would downgrade de GPU and upgrade CPU to play in 1080p.

Parece una buena combinación pero no he probado la 4070 (tengo la 4070 TI). Con este procesador he logrado mover warzone a 90-100 FPS y el multijugador a 120-150FPS, lo mismo con GTA V, así que creo que es un buen procesador para combinar con esa grafica. Te aconsejo que busques test de " RTX 4070 + 10400F" en youtube.
