A jail sentence is necessary for future “deterrent,” not just for current “punishment.” Given the (1) top-secret information in his head and (2) Secret Services protection for life, Donald Trump and his Secret Services detail could not be imprisoned in a regular jail full of prisoners - perhaps a special prison (like the SCIF in Florida) built specifically for him?!
