Here after watching I Still Believe and now I’m obsessed with The Benjamin’s Gate music. So much talent!!! Also: This woman is an inspiration to female musicians.

I was just listening to a Jeremy and Adrienne camp duet and I was wondering if she was the same Adrienne Liesching. Googled her and realised she was also the singer in Benjamin Gate! I loved this group when I was growing up. They, and a number of other bands were my introduction to Christian pop/rock music that I love to this day

I heard they broke up right after the iron mountain fest hosted by Ben Shreve and his ministry the lead singer was getting married the band may have replaced her after she left. ???

And I hate him for it. It cost us this band (okay, not really..... but really). Her solo stuff is just kind of generic softy worship stuff.

from wiki The Benjamin Gate was a South African Christian band formed in 1998 following the motor vehicle accident and subsequent death of a mutual friend and fellow musician, Benjamin Herbert. Their name, which was also the name of one the entrances into the original city of Jerusalem, was chosen as a tribute to him.
