I'm pretty good at the game and never bother with any loaded or special dice any more, I just don't need them. Since I took the 'perfect throw' perk I find it quite hard to lose, even against players using loaded dice. To make it more of a challenge, I quite often will only allow myself to win in a single turn, so I either get to 4000 or bust. I still usually win.

Anyone running this build now, another idea I had was, instead of going fat into STR and putting fire on your offhand, you could still use holy just like the original, and instead pump up your faith more, then just put a fire spell on to cast when you get a frostbite proc. (A little less convenient, but should do a decent bit more damage per swing, I think) I also might experiment with running double frostbite and a fire spell/fire pot.

It is another Bethesda sin that in over 60 hours of gameplay I never found a Hard Target. So I did something I never done before, I used console commands and got me one. No guilt here, just pure killing joy. Screw Bethesda's stingy weapon RNG.

They could've made this game more popular and redeeem the dodgy release with more fixes and improvements (like No Mans Sky or CyberPunk) but they didn't do much to improve anthing except the worst bugs, they even ruined a lot with patches and never repaired it. It seems they focused on the next game right away, soon we'll see if they can justify that. But even if, it's still a shame that they stopped fixing bugs so quickly. Yet, even with the endless array of issues, I actually agree that it's the best game ever!

Putting the political forced diversity BS aside. I don't want diversity for another reason, and that's resources. Resources was the reason blacksmithing was not in the first game and also the reason the game was so buggy at launch. If you start including stuff that won't elevate the game in a meaningfull way, you are basically throwing away resources that could be used for more meaningfull stuff. Like crossbows, blacksmithing, fixing bugs, making combat better etc.

Love watching this scene after finishing the game. When Radzig talks about Henry's mother it makes so much sense now, and his lack of anger and willingness to accept Henry into his service for his father. Just really ties a bow on everything.
