LYRICS: The sun will rise, the sun will rise Bringing life to the earth As it springs from the ground The sun will rise, the sun will rise Won't you dry all your tears lay your burden down? Won't you dry all your tears lay your burden down? The sun will rise, the sun will rise Bringing life to the earth As it springs from the ground The sun will rise, the sun will rise Won't you dry all your tears lay your burden down? this is beautiful. It feels like it has so much more emotion and meaning behind it compared to a lot of other contemporary Christian music I hear. It's a modern sound while not just sounding like a love song for Jesus.

The Prayer of St. Francis: Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console, To be understood as to understand, To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

The melody that begins at 4:48 and goes until the end of the song. I have been looking for the sheet music for this part for MONTHS. If you look up "We Will Run sheet music" you will find the first half but I can't find it anywhere. I have even tried messaging the bad themselves and looking on their site. My wedding is coming up in 2.5 months and this is the song my fiancé and I want for our processional. It would mean so much to us. We would really like to do it live and we have a few bands but I want to give them the music so they can practice and play it. Is there anyone who can help me find the music for the second half of this song??? Someone people help me!!!!!!

God reveals Himself to all in the earth through His creation, setting off the alarms in our spirits to recognize Him and the sins in our hearts. So therefor, everyone that does accept Christ in their heart, turns from sin and follows Him. Will be enabled through grace to overcome sin and persevere in this life. This person will become an example and bringing more to Christ eventually fishing his race on earth with dignity and God will welcome him upon his death and call him His "faithful-servant". However those who do not accept Christ in their hearts after the knowledge of Him is revealed, lie to themselves and are selfishly walking for their own desires on the earth and to satisfy their flesh... Our mission is to "GO" and make disciples, so that we may be able to fulfill Christ last given ordinance to His people upon departure.

Hi... Well, I still find very hard to understand the meaning of this song. Could anyone explain me what the expression "nothing of God's great love" or "God so distant why are you standing bY"? Is this the cry of a broken heart? If it is why does the first part seem to draw negative connotations to God's blood from the flood? Could anyone explain me please? Cause I still don't understand it in a consistent way... The whole album is so powerful, bUt this song still leaves me wondering in what they really meant for I don't understand it.

Sorry, instead of blood I meant love.
@seymourthellama70288 жыл бұрын
+Nathon Hilton I don't understand it either, Nathon, but I think that's the point. Christianity is full of tensions and mysteries. One of the greatest of these is that God is a completely loving God who loved us "while we were yet sinners," but is yet capable of (by our definition) horrific violence. For example, the Flood, the Canaanites, Ananias and Sapphira, and so on. How can this be? How can God be loving, merciful, and good, while also just, terrifying, and punishing? This is a hard one to answer, and I don't think this song does. I think it just shoves the tension right in your face. It looks at a woman in the flood, watching as her children drown, who cries out to God for salvation... and isn't saved. It looks at those with hardened hearts, who fight to find happiness but seemingly are kept from Him by God Himself (see Pharaoh in Exodus or what Paul says in Romans). There are ways around this. People write whole sermons, books, stories, systematic theologies trying to find a good answer. Calvin has his, Augustine has his, Julian of Norwich has hers, etc. All I know is this. God is just, and God is loving. He is just to those that hate Him, loving to those who love Him -- and just to those who love Him, and loving to those who hate Him. And that, no matter what, He is good. Sometimes that's enough. If not, try reading those philosophers/theologians and others to see what they have to say, or talk to some pastors/priests/good friends. Just realize that most people have different ideas of how God works, and that they're not all necessarily wrong. Good luck.

I think the line is "When I think of God's great love" - the songwriter is speaking ironically. He is adopting the perspective of one of the lost, the folks who did not make it to the ark.

livinghappyisachoice The translation is right but the origin is actually wrong. Kryie eleison comes from the Greek.
