Only just arrived, but i heard in a spoiler free review tgat there's quite a lot to this game; i wouldn't normally do this, but given the lack of actual playing content at all, might i dare ask that you aim for 100%? Again, i don't normally ask this, but my curiosity is peaked while footage is nigh nonexistent.

SORRY! I completely missed this. I should have posted it in my own channel. Yeah, sadly NBB.exe really didn't get picked up by many people. It's a real bummer since it was almost a decade of work and indeed there's actually a lot more to the game beneath the surface. If you're interested in playing it yourself, you can join the discord HERE discord.com/invite/payufQ5fwE There's a few people there that have 100% ed the game, and they may be able to help. I am also always available to give hints and point players in the right direction. As for making a 100% guide myself, I could absolutely do that, but I feel like it would be a little silly coming from the developer. Specially since there aren't a lot of players requesting it. Anyhow thank you for showing interest, and let me know if I can help you out in any way.

Thoughts: What happens to Harker after the ending? Is she now the accomplice?
@bernardodelcast4 ай бұрын
It is an interesting perspective. But I don't know if there can be a satisfying solution there. In the literal sense, it seems like the dolls can have any level of control over people. So, yeah inheriting her mother's position would be possible. However, I personally don't think that ending is very fulfilling on a literal or a metaphorical sense. If Lee is possessed, it seems the police would be all over her, as the event was not a quiet one. That said, the movie is never too concerned with the logistics of the world, and we barely get an idea of other agents in the FBI or their involvement. On the other hand, if Lee is finally done with the possession, she is still probably scarred for life: First with the recovered memories of her old trauma and now being forced to kill everyone close to her. Arguably this would be even more punishing than living as a demonic servant. I am inclined to believe that while the supernatural nightmare is over, she is now faced with a much darker reality and there's nothing she or anyone can do to fix it.

@@joediehljoe haha I'll have to watch it again, not sure if I caught that triangle detail. But that's an interesting point. I also caught the 911 call, but I understood it as a metaphorical fear: This girl is not the girl I raised, it is a brainwashed version who someone manipulated. A doll. This would also track with the reading of -modernity challenging and destroying tradition-. Current influences brought into the nuclear family by the daughters that parents simply misunderstand and blame as destructive - change as corruption. Literal daughters would be wild for sure though. Not sure if I'd like that, but I certainly wouldn't expect it Hahaha.

If you visit Google/Flights and see that flights from MCO to MIA are generally more expensive than the $79 Brightline ticket. Not only that, your total travel time is more than an hour. 1 hour check in, 1 hour flight, 20 minutes of deboarding, and 20 minutes to travel from MIA eastwards into downtown Miami where Brightline Miami central is already located. Tack on another 20 minutes if for some reason you have checked luggage/baggage claim. So that's 2 hours 40 minutes - 3 hours vs Brightline's 3.5 hour timetable into downtown Miami. Your cheaper Spirit Airlines flights into FLL are only cheaper if you travel with nothing more than an 18" backpack. Throw in a carry-on and you're looking at ~+$60 each way. Your base ticket doesn't even include seat selection so have fun with that middle seat. Need to change your flight within 60 days of departure? Good luck with the $60-$110 change fees (the latter price is within 7 days of departure) unless you paid the $45 waiver up front. Want wifi along your journey? That's another $8. All that to save maybe 20 min vs Brightline into Fort Lauderdale (2 hours 20 minutes vs 2 hours 45 minutes)? If downtown Miami is your final destination then FLL airport leaves you ~45 minutes north. No matter which flight you take, none of them will offer you the level of space, comfort, and amenities you'll find on the train. The train passenger will have hourly frequencies at their disposal. If they want to change their train departure, they can do so free of charge up to 6 minutes before the train leaves without change fees (only pay the difference in fare if there is one). They'll have the option of free carry-ons up to two 28" suitcases on the train with them also while enjoying Starlink wifi on their journey. Upon arrival they'll have services like Brightline+ (free depending on what service you choose) at the station to take them to/from their destination. The next Orlando station will be at the convention center via the Sunshine Corridor. This will put passengers much closer to both Disney and Universal.
@bernardodelcast10 ай бұрын
Well, a closer station would make that really great! Honestly pros and cons, I think all the offerings have their downsides. We didn't have the best customer service experience in the Brightline, And the seats were not as comfortable as Amtrack, it's hard to compare considering how long it takes. And while going by plane may have more downsides worst-case scenario. It does seem appealing for its speed if you're willing to pay for it. All in all, it was a pretty good experience though, but I guess our expectations were set a bit high. If you have a 4-person group, it's definitely a MUCH better deal too. I think we will definitely give brightline some more tries though ;)

Surprised by the hate for Control. While the dialogue was pretty heavy handed at parts, I thought that world was fun as hell, and that it all felt cohesive tonally. It is a very campy game. The Threshold Kids kinda cement that throughout.
@bernardodelcast Жыл бұрын
I like control well enough, I enjoyed the game a lot. I just thought the story and characters aren't very charming and they often seem a little lost in translation, or just generally unnatural. And yeah, that's the thing, the world is much more fun than the main characters and their adventure. The super bosses are creative and unexpected but they also seem almost entirely disconnected from Jesse and her overall tone. And it's kind of similar in Alan Wake 2, but it seems to be less effective at world building and more focused on the weird quirky dialogue which doesn't often hit for me. Not sure how Rick feels though, I think he prefers alan wake by far. I don't.

@@bernardodelcast I guess that's fair. I definitely didn't love Control because of my connection to Jesse Faden or her weirdo brother. She was moreso a conduit for me to explore and settle into the world.
