It's mentioned that Old Main is one of the most haunted places on a U.S. college campus. I felt a lot of spirit, but never saw a ghost.

The place has changed a lot since I left in 1990. Bunch of new science and class room buildings in addition to new sports facilities. Lots of upgrades to the older buildings. Penn State is one of the top ranked colleges on many lists. Check them out. www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=12VLAKF8iJkfWH4G3mJ_56uEPndw

The Pennsylvania State University is the worst university in the history of the educational system. If you want to accomplish anything it will not happen. It seriously will not happen! Penn State has actually stripped away my ability to become an engineer. They do not care. They take your money and then throw you away. I have not even completed the summer semester hear at Penn State yet and I already realized that this is the worst university ever. It is all one big scam to steal your money.

When employers see pedd state on your diploma your job will never happen.All decent people hate anyone involved with pedd state and their greasy god Jo pa who God smited.

Okay, when you intend to insult something or someone, you must have at least a second grade education, so you can put your sentences together with acceptable grammar. In addition, if you did your homework, the Wall Street Journal considers Penn State as having the most eager students, which thus land them a job almost immediately out of college. It's a great school. Just because a small group of people were bad, doesn't mean the rest are the same. I understand why you're mad though. Hell, you can't even spell Penn State!

You can the see stats online. It's not as diverse as Temple, for example, but Pennsylvania isn't as diverse as D.C., Georgia or California. However, you won't find a top ranked college in a better college town anywhere. Penn State is a family. The saying, "We are Penn State"... comes from the SMU not wanting to play us in 1948 because we had black players. The team told SMU we are Penn State, we play all or none. In 1946 Penn State canceled a game with Miami instead of sitting two players.

@Theresistance646 жыл бұрын
What do you mean diverse? There are black students, white, Indian, Asian, Latino, people from all over the world. What do you want, statistics? What is that going to change? You are there to study. I am black and have an AA and BS from Penn State. I had zero issues.

Still more selective than many solid public schools on their main campus including UConn, Rutgers, IU-Bloomington. On par with UT-Austin.

Its a huge university. Also a state school. Its not an absurd percentage.However Penn state has programs that is no different than any elite colleges. Except the very high rated ones

Thats overall for the university. They have more than 1 campus, they have 19 commonwealth campuses, which are easier to get into. Main Campus is very hard to get in to, but none of the others aren't really at all.

You're actually the idiot. Penn St.'s acceptance rate is around 50%. You are thinking of the Ivy League school in Philly, the University of Pennsylvania whose acceptance rate was 12.3 percent.
