*Typically admitted feed into the rectifying section of a distillation column rather stripping section for 1) efficient separator, 2) thermodynamics Equilibrium balance, 3) Energy optimization, 4) Pure quality of product and yield. Any other apart from that please let us know???? What are the specific criteria for feed location? Because many times its critical to achieving efficient separation and energy optimization.
@AKBChemical4 күн бұрын
The location of the feed plate can be found out by using methods like McCabe-Thiele, Ponchon-Savarit, etc. These methods use the VLE data and the type of the feed for locating the feed plate.

Thank you for this very clearly communicated treatment of Fick's law of diffusion applied to the specific configuration of a uniform slab. I'm looking into some options for remediating a low level problem with Radon levels in a home and needed a refresher on this topic so that I can make good use of the new data on Radon diffusion constants in modern construction materials. There is a simple grace to the clarity and efficiency of this video that brings a smile to my face to have been able to both learn and appreciate the vehicle for learning.

hi, great video! thank u for the explanation. i have a question on HG calculation bc im still confused, do we use the heat capacity of vapor or liquid? they teach me to use vapor heat capacity here but i feel like it isnt right after watching this video
@AKBChemical3 ай бұрын
@@gyocharou4737 In this case these are heat capacities of pure liquid A and Liquid B. Because in order to create the Vapor phase, the liquid solution has to be heated to the dew point by supplying sensible heat and then the latent heat will be supplied to change the phase from liquid to Vapor.
