With the three spotters he should have just said go to 750…. Then just kept going and it would be legendary that he benched 1000 lbs that day😂😂😂
@gopherstate777Ай бұрын
He didn't Bench it. Spotter had his hands on the bar. Sorry nice try though.

3 Spotters, Lifting the Butt of the Bench. That shit barely stayed down any second. Not hating, but he probably has a nice 600lb c😮lean Powerlifting Competition Approved lift.

No, his technique is not text book, and these lifts wouldn't pass muster in a power lifting competition, but this is a VERY impressive display of raw strength. And he wasn't wearing a specialized bench shirt compression shirt. WOW.

The bar doesn’t bounce at a weight elite heavy weight bench pressers have a hard time with while also not wearing any of the gear they need to lift less that that? Yeah seems legit.

Sorry but these lifts dont count because the spotter helped him lift it.

Right plus pulling up on the bar. But I think he could do 600 without help impressive.

Larry "Atlas" Allen. I told my friends long ago after this video came out it reminded me of Atlas, the guy holding up the world in his shoulders. A gentle giant on the field of battle and undoubtedly the greatest ever at his spot to play the game of football. RIP Big Man and thanks for the memories.

@@Shel230Can’t have 3 guys touching the bar the guy in the middle was most likely pulling up the bar if u watch close. No hands anywhere near the bar.

I did time in the 80s in the IDOC. They used to have weight lifting, boxing, and basketball leagues... teams would travel from different facilities! I was maybe 140, and I was able to get up on the stage with the 300 club! You had to bench twice your weight, and I was maxing out at 345! They brought in guys from Pontiac, if you remember the commercial. "We build excitement, PONTIAC!" That's all that we could say after some dude benches 745👀‼️ I'm like, this dude just lifted a whole car engine! The strength of a man is crazy!
