The part that had a negative spin on the rest of the movie was the conversation between the father and his daughter. It felt so unrealistic and stupid that the tone was set.

Love the collab channel you have with your friend JP. Editing is great too! I’ve been on the Great Movie Ride in Disney World back in 2017 before they changed the whole ride and they had a section with the Alien movie. It was horrifying (I almost passed out😂), but the thrill was fun. Great job on the review for the new movie👌😎

The lesbian stuff didn't bother me at all to be honest and it didn't come off as a political agenda. Its very obvious the time period of the show is mostly an aesthetic and the social values are modern. The scene between Harley and Renee is mild and the show makes no big deal out of it which is how homosexual relationships should be treated in media, as normal and mundane not something special or different.

@@simple2052 honestly my problem with the scene is less that it was a lesbian couple but moreso it was Harley. Im aware that lately shes been lesbian more often than not but the Joker is such an important part of her character that I always cringe when they go this route with her

@@soapdish3345 I agree that Joker has been an important part of Harley Quinn's character for almost her entire existence but her popularity has evolved the character and solidified her identity into something entirely separate of the Joker. I enjoyed Caped Crusader's take on Harley Quinn and her being a lesbian didn't negatively impact the quality of the show or my enjoyment of it. It's fine to critique the choices the creators made for Harley Quinn but some people obnoxiously focus on her being a lesbian and that equating to the show pushing a gay agenda like the original comment I replied to. These people end up politicizing everything they are uncomfortable with and ruin any potential discourse comic book fans could have about characters they love.

I enjoyed the movie. I liked seeing Josh Hartnett back on the silver screen. His performance was great. Thrills and excitement throughout the movie. The concert scenes were fun. The story and script was good enough for me. I didn't like that the movie was predictable, but this is more of a gripe because I was entertained with it. M. Night's daughter was good as the singer, but she was in the movie too much.
