We had to do something similar with our Cemanis. One made it, the other couldn't swallow and passed away shortly after hatching. Amazing how tough that lining can get. 😎 STOC

You say you sharpened the chain, but it is NOT sharp. If it was, those limbs would come off in half a second each. Spend the 20 bucks on a new chain, because you are wasting time and fuel, plus, dull blades are less safe.

We have Eastern Red Cedar (a type of juniper) here in NW Georgia. I use it for fence posts, hitching posts, and even made a large hanging sign frame out of three large trees. It holds up well in wet, buggie areas where treated lumber and steel have a short life span. It’s also all but free material.

Do you let them range? I let my turkeys guinies pfowl and chickens roam from sun up to down. Few geese too maybe 200-230 all together

Nothing wrong with that!That horse is as fit as a fiddle!Look at how it's coat is dappled. And I would bet my last dollar that the man feeds and put the horse in at night before he take care of himself like it's supposed to be done.Thanks!

This buggy horse looks great to me. I grew up around Standardbreds because my uncles used to do sulky racing. I had some Amish neighbors, he raised and trained Morgans and Morgan crosses, also mules and donkeys. Pulled the buggies and carts. Very well cared for animals.

In South Georgia, we use 200 Plus HP tractors! A small tractor to us is 50 HP! Most all of ours are also 4 wheel drive!

This looks so easy and so GOOD! I've been looking for an easy pizza dough recipe and I finally found this that actually looks simple with very basic ingredients. I even have the cast iron skillet. Thank you!! Also, I feel u about moving to the country & having a hard time finding ingredients! 🍕

Sometimes I wish I lived like that re traveling with a horse & buggy. He probably doesn't look at the news either...I have decided not to look at the news and be happier. That’s your neighbor who has convictions about being photographed. So you videotaped him as he loaded the supplies into his buggy after you helped him purchase them. Now I’m curious, I wonder if he would have enjoyed you helping him load rather than you going against his convictions and videotaping him as he does the work?

For one Amish people can be photographed they just aren't supposed to pose for a photograph. Two, we are friends and I drove him an hour away so he could grocery shop and do his banking. Three, he knew I was recording him and didn't mind...

The horse looks fine to me. A lot of these horses are standerdbreds and thoroughbreds. A lot come from the track. We also had a 30 year old mustang at one time. When animals get older they also lose muscle mass. Had some moron neighbor claim the horse was being neglected.

Is it me- or is that horse in really bad condition...? You can see the damn ribs and pelvis! Yet that idiot still has the poor horse working?! So sad to see these people treat their animals in such a horrible way- such neglect! I hope someone does the right thing, and reports him. Shame on that idiot guy!

No, it is not: back when people, horses and dogs performed manual/physical labor they "burned" fat and produced muscles, often showing a little rib. Nowadays, as they say, "Not so much." For the most part today, many people, horses and dogs produce only fat on their bodies, which is why 40% of contemporary Americans are obese. Check-out a WORKING American Standardbred, Saddlebred or Thoroughbred. Like human athletes, they look much different compared to "regular" folks.

We have several Amish neighbors and friends. They are very nice hard working people,and always ready to help when needed. We also help them out by being transportation to stores, job sites etc. You couldn’t ask for better neighbors.

They just follow unbiblical man made rules. They even tell them that if they leave the church they will go to hell. There are also other huge problems, horrific things.

They are very hard on horses I knew a guy who raised horses and he would not sell any of his horses to them because they are hard on them as you can tell by the looks of his horse!
