Thanks for the playthrough! The green laser can only stun enemies, preventing them from attacking. The purple laser is fast but has short range. The scrap cannon is more powerful and travels farther but doesn't fire as quickly. If you lose a segment of your ship, you lose the weapon on that segment.

Also if you ever give it another go, only hits to the head get any points. So sometimes swinging a little slower and guiding your shots toward the head can be better than swarming, but both can work! I know the rules aren't super in depth since it was just a quick itch release. When you hit an enemy and the time slows that means they are hurt and will be easier to knockout for 5 seconds. When you get hit and the screen turns read that means you are more likely to get knocked out. Body shots are something I plan on adding. And you can grab by holding C

Thanks for giving it a shot! I have to update the characters that aren't Punch Johnson for player use. I have really been tuning the gameplay to Punch. Battlebot is the toughest character to hurt but also the slowest. Awesome job getting the victory!

There is also a "head back" option in the menu that immediately brings you back to the most recent reset. I didn't want to make tutorials mandatory so I put them in the help section of the menu.

Spoiler Alert for Paws Off Thank you so much for playing our game! Just a quick hint about the game's goal: somewhat counterintuitively, the dialogue in this game is quite crucial. In the rat level, you’ll need to count the number of mice horizontally. Finally, you'll use the knowledge you've gathered to climb to the top of the tower and complete the ending, and apologize for any difficulty reading the text due to the lack of optimization for different resolutions.

A few things you missed in The Ancient One's Garden (which is fair since some are a bit hard to figure out): There is a thing in the main area you can interact with to assign your followers to protect the priestess, so since you didn't notice it, when the corruption attacked, you lost because there were no takodachi set to guard it. The other thing is that going through certain gates changes the paths through the forest, which makes it even easier to get lost and harder to find the sources of the corruption you need to defeat. When you find the corruption, you can defeat it by just hanging around them with your followers, or clicking on it to make your followers stay there while you go do something else. Also clicking on the green lanterns and reading the text can help you navigate a bit since they act as landmarks. Finally, San is short for Sanity. -- Another participant in the same game jam

I've played this game myself actually! There were some aspects I personally wasn't huge on, but this game wasn't made for me; it's just a delightful collection of thoughts and ideas dragged pulled straight from one person's imagination and organised into a game engine. It's really a strange experience; to have such a vivid view into the inner workings of someone's very thought process I didn't like the final level

Love the dynamic! Even playing single player games is a lot more fun with another person. Reminds me of playing games as a kid when all I had was single player games but my cousins and I would take turns or try to figure things out together. Love the duo videos!
