I was at the Coogee Bay Hotel, akd Selina's that very night. Seriously talented band, even more interesting sound including the talcum powder faux dust flying in ALL directions under the strobe lights.

Maybe the fact that he really didn’t want to do it made him that much more perfect for this role. He is the picture of pink I see in my head during certain songs like “nobody home” or “comfortably numb” or even “waiting for the worms” if I just listen to the album I can still see the scenes in my head. This film is one of my favorites because of how many risks it takes. It isn’t a conventional movie at all. I love it. Something unique like the wall needs a unique way of telling the story. That’s why I love it so much. (it also helps that it’s my favorite album and band and has my favorite songs on it)

He wanted to keep playing with Quo but Rossi and Parfitt took over the decision making and direction of the band towards the tepid pop rock direction. Rossi sabotaged the hard rock energy. They should of got harder in the 80's.
