Both universities gave excellent performances!!! JSU is too tough to beat. Alcorn your ensembles were awesome. Golden Girls your performance was awesome and left us speechless. It was very creative within the framework structure of the band and 5th quarter battle, take a bow!!!

I was there. Even better in person. Alcorn with better song selections, arrangements and wider range of emotions evoked within their music. JSU sounded great, but Alcorn with the dub!

TxSU was on the way and one of their buses had an issue. By the time another bus met them, there was no way they would've made it before halftime.

The alcorn band drum majors dancers looks very uncomfortable in their marching style. I remember when their style was similar to Jackson State and it led.to a big controversial. They have been trying to compete with the sonic boom but they are not there yet.😮
