I think the chant at the beginning is them invoking the four dvergar ( dwarves) for east, south, west, then north... Kom austre... kom suðhri... kom vestri... kom norðhri... Something like that, anyone else who has better than intermediate Norwegian language skills able to help me out?? Ive been trying to figure it out for literally over 10 years ...😮

@@VampyrTepes Je les ai vu au Luxembourg en 2017 avec Rotting Christ.... Ils étaient aussi passés à Volmerange les mines dans un bar à la frontière, c'était génial. Mais j'adore le rendu du son que tu es parvenu à capturer sur ton live. Tu as aussi uploadé Astral path to supreme majesties de la même date, c'est pour ça que je demande....

I knew nothing of this horrible famine until i learned of this amazing song. Crazy what they went through and then try to get out and hope for a new, only to find themselves welcomed to a watery grave. I am so humbled by the story of this song!

I think Celestial Season created a unique fusion of Black, Atmospheric, Progressive, Gothic, Avant-garde metal that has never been duplicated or equaled even in 2024. They are super unique and wonderful IMHO. Peace to All
